A Farmer's Market Lunch
My friends Carol (above), Christopher and I met for coffee yesterday morning and then walked to the Royal Oak Farmer's Market to gather the ingredients for a good lunch. We bought Thai Curry Chicken and Moroccan Lamb and Fig sausages from the Corridor Sausage Company as well as heirloom tomatoes for a salad:
an assortment of ripe bell peppers in red, yellow, orange, purple, and white, which were sautéed with red onions, salt, pepper, and olive oil:
and fresh bread from a French baker at the market.
