Vietnamese Banana Dumpling
I'm not sure what the proper name is for these dumplings, having neglected to ask the owner at Saigon Market (30573 John R Rd Madison Heights, MI 48071) when I bought a couple the other day. At 2 for $2.50, including the coconut milk for dipping, they're a good deal, and very tasty. They consist of a reddish slice of banana wrapped in glutinous rice, and I'm guessing they're steamed and then fried.
